Maintenance
Our team will inspect the apt. home make any repairs necessary, paint, clean and clean carpet. Our goal is to create a outstanding move in experience while helping you make it feel like home!
You do not have to be present for our maintenance team to be able to complete your maintenance request. Unless stated otherwise per your access request notes, our maintenance team will complete all tickets as soon as they possibly can.
Our maintenance team have staff members that live on site and respond to emergency maintenance requests in a urgent and timely manner.
If something needs to be repaired in your apartment, you can submit a maintenance ticket online in your resident portal or contact the office where we can place a maintenance ticket for you.
If you are locked out during office hours, our maintenance team can let you into your building/apartment. If it is after hours, you will need to call our Emergency Maintenance staff to be let in. If new keys need to be made, additional fees will be charged to the account.
If you experience a Maintenance Emergency outside of office hours, you will need to call the office at 269.344.3666 and select option 3. Then, when prompted, select option 2. You will then be redirected to leave a message. Please include your name, phone number, address (building number and apartment number) and the maintenance issue.

Our community is pet friendly with some restrictions on dog breeds.
It is standard for our apartments to come with a spacious fridge, oven, dishwasher, and hoodfan.
We do not offer furnished apartments.
Community amenities located in the office are available during office hours and outdoor community amenities are available from 9:00am - 9:00 pm.

Admin
If all documents are submitted from our applicant at time of the application submission, we take 48 hours or less to provide the application status.
To pay rent, our residents have the option of paying online with a bank account, debit card, or credit card. Our residents can also pay with a personal check, money order, or cashier's check.
You are not required to purchase renter's insurance but it is strongly encourage.
Our residents can choose between Spectrum or At&t for their internet and cable options.
During the application process, we will require to have a copy of your government issued ID and 2 months of income documentation.
To set up your electric and gas billing, you will need to contact Consumers Energy at (800) 477-5050 or online at https://www.consumersenergy.com/ and register your account with your new address to be able to start service by your lease start date.
If your application is denied, we will call to inform you of your application status and send a denail letter from our 3rd party screening.
Rent is due on the 1st of each month.
The application can be completed online at winchellwayapartments.com. After registering your account through RentCafe, you will be able to pick from our available apartments and begin your application.
Application fees are $45.00 per applicant.

The two main Kalamazoo Metro bus routes that are near Winchell Way are bus stop #11: Stadium / KVCC and #25: Parkview Campus
We are in the Kalamazoo Public Schools district.
We are located off of Stadium Drive which will also have multiple options for grocery, home goods, autoparts, hardware stores, and resturants.
